1) IPS officer Shri Gyanendra Pratap Singh, the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) inaugurated a newly built block comprising 304 Type-II family quarters at the CRPF Group Centre in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, marking a major milestone in enhancing the housing and welfare facilities for CRPF personnel and their families.

2) Kalabhavan Navas, a renowned Malayalam actor and mimicry artist associated with the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe, passed away at the age of 51.
➨ He was found unresponsive while shooting for a film in Chottanikkara.

3) The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has appointed Khalid Jamil as the head coach of the Indian Senior Men’s Football Team; notably, he was honoured with the AIFF Men's Coach of the Year award in both 2023–24 and 2024–25.

4) On August 1, 2025, Dr. Mayank Sharma assumed charge as the Financial Advisor (Defence Services), following his previous role as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).

5) Marking a significant step toward sustainable rural development and food security, the 9th Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) made its first purchase of locally grown organic produce under the ambitious Mission Arun Himveer in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh.

6) INS Himgiri, a stealth frigate armed with eight BrahMos cruise missiles and Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LR SAM) systems, was inducted into the Indian Navy as the third vessel under the Nilgiri-class Project 17A.

7) SpaceX successfully launched NASA’s Crew-11 mission, carrying four astronauts—Zena Cardman, Michael Fincke, Oleg Platonov, and Kimiya Yui—highlighting the spirit of international cooperation in space exploration.

8) INS Satpura, a ship of the Indian Navy, took part in the 32nd Singapore-India Maritime Exercise (SIMBEX-25), showing strong teamwork between the navies of India and Singapore in the Indo-Pacific region.

9) Vice Admiral Manish Chadha took charge of the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala.

10) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta started a month-long door-to-door cleanliness drive from ISBT Kashmiri Gate.
➨ The campaign aims to improve cleanliness in homes, government offices, and public transport areas.

11) A new taxi service named ‘Bharat’ has been launched by the cooperative sector to compete with Ola and Uber.
 ➨ The service is run by eight major cooperatives, including the National Cooperative Development Corporation, under the Multi-State Sahakari Taxi Cooperative Ltd.

12) Shashi Prakash Goyal became the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, replacing Manoj Kumar Singh.
➨ He stressed strict action against corruption and focused on improving infrastructure in the state.

13) India has become the second-largest fish-producing country in the world, as announced by Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh.
➨ This success comes from a 103% rise in fish production between 2013–14 and 2024–25.

14) Dr. V. Vasanthi Devi, former Vice-Chancellor of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, died at the age of 86.
➨ She also served as the Chairperson of the Tamil Nadu State Commission for Women from 2002 to 2005.

15) Vice Admiral CR Praveen Nair has become the new Controller Personnel Services of the Indian Navy.
➨ He has rich experience in Communications and Electronic Warfare and has commanded major ships like INS Vikramaditya.
